Town Marking 9/11 with Annual Ceremony on Tuesday

The annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony is set for 7 p.m. at the Town of Babylon September 11, 2001 Hometown Memorial.

As in years past the Town is holding a ceremony open to all residents to honor the 48 residents from all over the Town who lost their lives in the attacks on September 11, 2001.

The ceremony will be held on at 7 p.m. at the Town of Babylon September 11, 2001 Hometown Memorial on Ocean Parkway between Overlook and Beaches.

The program will include brief remarks, a reading of the names of Babylon residents lost and appropriate musical selections.

All residents are invited to attend and join together to reflect on the events of September 11, 2001, said Town officials.
