Town Tree Lighting Happening Next Weekend
The week after Thanksgiving is the kick-off to many community holiday events.
The Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by the Town of Babylon, will be held on December 2 at 6 p.m. at Babylon Town Hall.
Supervisor and Suffolk County Executive-Elect Steve Bellone, Babylon Town officials and Santa Claus will be at town hall for the annual ceremony.
All town residents are invited to attend this holiday event, which will again feature gifts for children, costumed characters, musical entertainment and refreshments for everyone, according to town officials.
