Viewfinder: Veterans on Parade
The Babylon Village Veterans Day Parade unfolded against a backdrop of fall color and American flags earlier today.
The Veterans Day parade, this year auspicially held on November, 11, 2011 began at 10 a.m. and ended precisely at 11:11 in front of American Legion Post 94, which sponsors the annual event.
Families came out to pay homage to the men and women who have served in the military, and marching bands, vintage cars, and scout troops hit the streets, making their way down Deer Park Avenue before turning east on Main Street.
