The Village of Babylon's Mayor Ralph Scordino issued a curfew last week shortly before the Town of Babylon followed suit. The curfew prohhibits non-residents from entering areas in Babylon Village, Lindenhurst and other areas in the town south of Montauk Highway due to the extensive damage and power outages caused by Hurricane Sandy.

Ernst was released on bail and will be arraigned by Suffolk County Courts on a later date.
