Babylon High School Reunion Planned for Next September

Classes of 1964 through 1969 invited to big reunion party in the village.

The Babylon High School Classes of 1964 through 1969 better get their yearbooks ready – it's going to be reunion time next September.

Al Collier, a member of the Class of 1964, is planning a big reunion for the six graduating classes of the mid-to-late 1960's in September 2014 at Lily Flanagan's in the village.

The event is still in the planning stages, but Collier said the reunions, which will be from 45th to 50th depending on the class, are to get everyone together to reminisce.

A flyer for the event jokingly notes "we are not getting any younger" to the classes.

Collier said the event is currently planned as a three-day event from September 12 through 14, 2014, starting with a simple meet-and-greet in the village on the first day. No location has been set as of this time, but Collier said he would announce a day in the coming months.

The second day of the reunion would include a daylong event at local restaurant/pub Lily Flanagan's before a group breakfast on the final day. The location for the third day was also still to be determined.

Collier is working on finding his classmates and the other alumni for the big get-together. The total cost for the event per person is expected to be $60.
