Babylon HS Names Two Senior Suffolk Zone Award Winners

Babylon High School seniors Matt Finelli and Kerry Glenday were awarded the New York State Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NYSAHPERD) Suffolk Zone Award on December 5th, 2012.

Each year, every high school in Suffolk County recognizes the top male and female physical education students based on the following criteria: physical education achievement, scholastic achievement, outstanding character, physical education class leadership, school wide and or community service and positive role modeling.

Finelli is a noted cross-country and baseball player for Babylon High School, helping lead the team to the Long Island Championship this past June. Glenday is a three-sport athlete, competiting in field hockey, lacrosse and track and field.
