Babylon Rotary Club Awards Scholarships to HS Seniors

The Babylon Rotary Club recently awarded several local high school seniors scholarships at its 53rd annual scholarship luncheon. The luncheon for the students moving on to colleges or vocational schools was held on May 23rd at the Long Island Yacht Club.

Pictured in the photo are several of the recipients, including Holly Genova from Babylon High School, Tatiana Ades and Naomi Baez from North Babylon High School, with Michael Scottaline their Assistant Principal; Raymond Schein and Derek Daffara of West Babylon High School, with Dr. E. Vassalo, their Principal; Teresa Oszkinis and Kelly Gregory from West Islip High School, with Dr. Anthony Bridgeman, Pricipal and Richard Simon, Superintendant; Also awarded scholarships but not able to be present to receive them is Danielle King and Emily Blau of St. John the Baptist High School and Rishab Kumar of Babylon High School.  Also pictured are Babylon Rotary President Chris Cunningham and Scholarship chair John F.
