BOE Moves Forward on Superintendent Search

Board also sets future committee meeting dates.

The Babylon Board of Education will hold a special meeting Tuesday to consider a potential partner in its quest to run a hiring search for finding the next district superintendent.

According to a news release sent last week by the district, the board of education will meet in the district conference room of the Babylon Junior-Senior High School at 7 p.m.  It is anticipated that the board will immediately entertain a motion to meet in Executive Session for the purpose of discussing the application of a particular firm to conduct a superintendent search.

The Board of Education also established future meeting dates for various committees.
