Five Things to Know: June 5

There's lots going on around Babylon Village on your Tuesday – baseball, knitting, jewelry and more!

1. Make some new friends and find your inner knitter at "" in The Village Knitter. The fun starts at noon – bring yourself and inspiration, no instructions given! Materials do not need to be purchased from the store, but would be appreciated by its owners.

2. After winning the Long Island Championship, Babylon High School's baseball team will take to the field again in East Hampton at 4:00pm. Their opponent has yet to be decided, but a win will propel the team further into state playoffs.

3. Learn how to at the Babylon Library. Tonight's event will include how to make a crystal and bead necklace and starts at 6:30pm. The program is for adults only and costs $5.00.

4. Take aim at the bulls-eye at the American Legion Post 94 as they host their weekly at their location in Babylon all evening long.

5. The Bean will host its weekly for all aspiring musicians, comedians, writers and poets starting at 7:30pm. Bring your talents and your friends for a great night in a great setting. The "Mic is Open" for you to entertain or listen to others.
