Photos of the Day: P.S. I Love You Day in Babylon

Campaign of kindness kicks off in Babylon, West Islip and other nearby areas.

Schools across our area celebrated P.S. I Love You Day last week on Thursday, helping to spread a campaign of kindness to all.

Founded by West Islip sophomore Brooke DiPalma in 2012, P.S. I Love You Day is an extension of the campaign of kindness created in memory of DiPalma's father Joseph, to suicide. The movement has grown to support individuals suffering from depression, suicidal thoughts, and bullying.

Students across the district wore purple and decorated signs with words of kindness to celebrate the day.

In the Babylon School District, projects and assemblies focused on the campaign's overall goal  of supporting those who need love and kindness the most.
