Santapogue Elementary Students Read to Succeed

Bookworms will head to Six Flags Great Adventure for reading so much this year.

Thirty-eight students of Santapogue Elementary School in the West Babylon Union Free School District demonstrated their love of reading by participating in the Read to Succeed program, coordinated by school librarian Gwendalyn McHugh.

The program encourages students in grades K-6 to further develop their love of reading by rewarding those who have completed six hours of recreational reading with a ticket to Six Flags Great Adventure, to be used during the summer months.
