BOE To Hold Special Meeting Regarding Anonymous Letter
The district has updated a meeting scheduled for November 17 to determine a response to an anonymous letter regarding the interim superintendent.
The Babylon Board of Education will hold a special meeting in the library of the Babylon Junior-Senior High School Thursday evening "to discuss and authorize a proposed statement by the Board in response to an anonymous letter."
The meeting will open at 7 p.m. and the district expects to adjourn at 7:15 p.m. to meet in executive session regarding teacher contract negotiations.
The meeting update was issued late Wednesday afternoon by the district.

On Tuesday Patch reported that interim School Superitendent Peter Daly announced he will not apply for the school chief position and that an anonymous letter criticizing district business activities had been mailed to residents earlier in the week.
