Talk Back: What Should School District Do With Extra State Aid?

Babylon received more aid than expected in the approved state budget. Patch wants to know how you think your district should spend it.

Babylon schools will receive $159,000 more in New York state aid for 2012/2013 school year than originally estimated. The approved state budget means that the district will have $37, 368 more aid than was granted in 2011/2012.

The Babylon school budget is still being finalized with adoption scheduled for April 16th. What do you think the biggest priority for schools will be? How should the money be spent?
