Three Babylon Students Awarded All-County Honors
Students will perform at Northport High School on November 16th.
Babylon High School students Samantha Gerdes, Kathryn Oman and Matthew Taggart were chosen to participate in the 2012 New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education/Suffolk County Music Educators Association’s High School All-County Music Festival, to be held on November 16th at Northport High School.
The three talented students were selected to participate in the All-County festival from a pool of hundreds of high school juniors and seniors throughout Suffolk County. To earn one of the highly-coveted spots in the festival, students needed the highest level of recommendation from their high school music instructor as well as high scores at the New York State School Music Association festival.
