W. Babylon Junior High School Students Receive BACCA Awards
WBJHS takes home top awards as art students sweep top three spots in their category.
The West Babylon Junior High School art department recently congradulated the winners of the 2013 Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts Art Show.
This was BACCA's 24th annual art show competition, in which students were rewarded for the work they produced in a myriad of media, including acrylics, watercolors, charcoal, pencil, pen and ink, oils, graphics and mixed media.
Receiving awards in the grade 5-8 category were studio art students Camilla Lyczko, who placed third, Christina Capobianco, who placed first and earned an honorable mention, and Ivy Greco, who placed second.

The show ran from May 28 through June 7 and culminated in an awards reception to honor the winners at the Old Town Hall in Babylon.
