W. Babylon Scout Installs Prayer Garden at Holy Trinity HS

A West Babylon Boy Scout earned his Eagle Scout honors by completing his project – right after Hurricane Sandy.

Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc throughout the Northeast, but it did not stop Christopher Caruso of West Babylon, from completing his Eagle Scout project at his high school, Holy Trinity Diocesan High School in Hicksville.

On Thursday, November 1st, less than 48 hours after Hurricane Sandy made her mark on Long Island, volunteers from Eagle Scout Troop #104 of West Babylon went to Holy Trinity to help Caruso begin installation of a prayer garden at the Faculty and Senior entrance of the school.  The entire project was donated with the help of local merchants, Holy Trinity community, friends and family.
