West Babylon Students Go Purple for P.S. I Love You Day

Empathy and support of peers are important character education traits taught at South Bay Elementary School in West Babylon.

On Valentine’s Day, fifth-grade students celebrated P.S. I Love You Day by wearing purple.

Held annually on the second Friday of February, students left positive affirmations on the walls of the school and on teachers’ doors to remind everyone of their positive attributes, and that words of kindness matter.
