The Babylon Board of Education will hold a at the high school at 7:30 p.m. where it expects to resume discussion and decisions regarding the proposed school budget.

The BOE has also announced that a meeting scheduled initially for April 26 will now be held on Thursday, April 28 at 6 p.m. and it is expected the board will vote on the BOCES budget and election candidates.

The Captree Power Squadron is offering boating and jet ski safety classes every Monday from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the town annex at 281 Phelps Lane in North Babylon. Upon completion students will receive a certificate that can qualify boaters for reduced marine liability rates. Classes are five weeks long and there is a nominal fee.
