Babylon Panthers' Girls Volleyball Schedule Released

The Babylon Panthers' girls varsity volleyball team will look to defend their Long Island Championship crown as they head in the 2013 season.

The first-time Long Island champs bowled over the competition en route to the title last season, knocking off Greenport in the Suffolk County Class C championship game and Oyster Bay for the island championship.

The season will get underway on September 9 as the girls take on Shoreham-Wading River in a non-league game at home.

The girls will matchup with Greenport for a rematch of last year's Suffolk County championship.
