The Panthers remained perfect this season, rolling through Bayport-Blue Point by a wide margin.

The Babylon Panthers improved to a perfect 5-0 this season with a 45-17 victory over the Bayport-Blue Point Phantoms on Saturday night.
The Panthers took a 14-7 lead on a Jake Carlock 94-yard punt return in the first quarter and never looked back. Carlock, who has been a key component of the Babylon offense this season, led the team with 6 receptions for 78 yards receiving and 32 yards rushing.
Quarterback Nick Santorelli went 11 for 18 on passes, throwing for a touchdown and 146 yards. Runningback Luke Zappia rushed 119 yards with a touchdown on 7 carries during the evening.

The Phantoms fell to 1-4 on the season.
Babylon remains in first place atop Division IV, tied with Mercy and Hampton Bays. The Panthers will have a showdown of perfect teams at home this Saturday, October 13th, when Hampton Bays visits at 2 p.m.

West Babylon Falls to Rival North Babylon
The West Babylon Eagles took one on the nose this weekend, falling 21-7 to North Babylon on Friday night.
The Eagles tied at the game at 7 in the second quarter on a three yard pass from quarterback Clifton Melhado to Nick Gilley, but it was all North Babylon from there on out.
The norther-siders took the lead in the third quarter on a 35 yard touchdown by runningback Melijah Purvis before tacking on another touchdown in the fourth.
West Babylon falls to 2-3 in Division II, tied with Smithtown West and Whitman for fourth place. North Babylon, now above .500 at 3-2, improves to third place with Riverhead and Newfield.
