The Babylon Panthers (1-0) are off to a good start to the season, 44-7 in the first game of 2012.

The Panthers scored 37 points on five touchdowns in the first half, taking a commanding 37-7 lead into halftime. Their win over East Hampton gives the Panthers an early season first place standing, tied with numerous other teams.

The Panthers will take on Glenn High School away on Friday night at 7 p.m.
