Section XI Releases 2012 W. Babylon Eagles Varsity Football Schedule
The Eagles will look to reclaim their number one ranking and deep playoff run from last year.
Football season is just about here!
High school football on Long Island will return this weekend and the West Babylon High School Eagles will look to repeat their great 2011 season this fall. Last year, the Eagles went a 8-2 overall, 7-1 during the regular season and made it to the Suffolk County Division II Semifinals before falling to Newfield.
West Babylon will open up the home schedule on September 14th by facing East Islip at 7:00 p.m. Cross-town rival North Babylon will visit the Eagles' Nest on October 5th for a showdown in a Battle of the Babylons. Homecoming will come, ironically, at the end of the schedule in a rematch of last year's semifinals on October 20th versus Newfield.
