Geiger Spray Park Grand Opening Set For Saturday

The Town of Babylon will celebrate the opening of the much-anticipated Geiger Spray Park during a grand opening ceremony on Saturday.

Babylon residents are invited to take part in the celebration from 10 a.m. to noon at Geiger Lake Memorial Park in Wyandanch.

Festivities will include music and giveaways, as well as appearances by local officials.

The 15,000-square-foot water playground features 25-foot-high artificial trees, a 100-foot-long play bridge and 25 spray elements.

Season family passes to Geiger are on sale for $110 (which includes admission to all Town polls except Phelps Lane), $65 for access only to Geiger, and $35 for individual access only to Geiger. Daily admission without a pass is $4 per person.

Passes are sold at the recreation office at Phelps Lane Park.

Geiger Lake Park is located on Grand Boulevard.
