Last Chance: Get Your Town Beach Pass

Beat the Memorial Day weekend crowds by getting that sticker this week.

Get a jump on the beach crowds by getting your beach pass this week, and be ready for your summer fun before Memorial Day weekend even hits.

Town of Babylon beach passes are now available for purchase at The Parks and Recreation Department, 151 Phelps Lane in North Babylon, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The passes can also be purchased at Cedar Beach Marina, Ocean Parkway, weekends only, until  9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The passes, $40 for town residents and $20 for senior citizens, grant season access to Town of Babylon beaches and bayfront parks like Cedar Beach, Cedar Marina, Gilgo Beach, and Overlook Beach, Tanner Park in Copiague and Venetian Shores in Lindenhurst.

Permits require double proof of residents, i.e. a tax and utility bill, and a vehicle registration, which must be current and have a Town of Babylon address. The vehicle you are purchasing the permit for must be present at the time of purchase.
