Good morning Babylon. This weekend is expected to be pleasantly warm, with temperatures in the mid 70s on deck for Monday. Check out the top 5 things to know for today, April 14, for Babylon.

1. Tune into Animal Planet tonight for a glimpse of a hometown store. Babylon Village's electronics store is the subject of a new reality show called Tanked. The premiere episode features a remake of a working refridgerator in the Babylon store into a fully functioning aquarium with a working water dispenser. The show will air at 9 p.m. Check back on Patch for photos of the Plesser's viewing party.

2. Satisfy your sweet tooth by check out the grand opening of Kilwin's Chocolates in Babylon Village. The new confectionary will be serving ice cream, fudge and other goodies starting at 11 a.m. today. Kilwin's is located at 130 Deer Park Avenue.

3. The Friendly Nursery School in West Babylon is leading local schools in a contest inspired by National Library Week. The asks parents to log on and vote for their child's school. The schools with the most votes will receive 75-100 new books for the library courtesy of NYMetroParents and The Brooke Jackman Foundation.

4. Know any firefighters who pitched in to battle the brush fired out east this week? in Huntington is offering free tickets to live shows this weekend for anyone who helped in their effort or any residents who were affected by the emergency. 5. Doing any spring cleaning lately? l is participating in PROJECT GLAM (Granting Lasting Memories) which collects gently used prom dresses for disadvantaged high school students. Drop off dresses at the Village Pharmacy, 124 E Main Street between now and April 20 and help brighten someone's prom season.
