Babylon Girl Scouts Volunteer at Breast Cancer 5K

Troop 283 spotted doing some good during local cancer fundraiser.

Babylon Village's dedicated Girl Scouts were out and about helping others again, this time volunteering their time during the Fit for a Cure 5K Run/Walk at Tanger Outlets in Deer Park.

The group of girls from Girl Scout Troop #283 helped hand out medals for finishing the event, which helped raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.

The girls have previously been spotted throughout the area helping bring books to a reopened senior home and visiting an aquarium.

Thanks to Flo Siemsen for posting these photos of the girls in action!
