At The Libraries: Defensive Driving Course, Project Hope

All of the big events and ongoings at Babylon's local libraries this week.

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week.

Babylon and West Babylon Public Libraries often host these events for little or no charge, so check out the top five events going on this week.

  • Head over to the Babylon Public Library around 1 p.m. on Monday, August 12 for "Adult Games in the Afternoon." Come meet some new people in the community and play classic board games – the event is free. Simply bring your own games.
  • Babylon Public Library will host a Project Hope Information Table starting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20.
  • The Board of Trustees meeting for the Babylon Public Library on this Tuesday has been rescheduled for August 28.
  • AARP will be holding a Defensive Driving Course at Babylon Public Library on Thursday, August 22 at 10 a.m.
