At The Libraries: July 1

All of the big announcements and events from our libraries this week.

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week. Babylon and West Babylon Public Libraries often host these events for little or no charge, so check out the top five events going on this week.

  1. The Babylon Public Library will be closed on Thurs., July 4 for Independence Day.
  2. The West Babylon Public Library will be closed on Thurs., July 4 for Independence Day.
  3. The Baking Coach at Babylon Public Library will be teaching how to make SRC Candy Sushis on Tues., July 2 at 3 p.m.
  4. Weekly preparation for the Battle of the Books will take place at Babylon Public Library on Wed., July 3 at 2:30 p.m. Join the battle!
  5. Get stretching at a Yoga Evening Class at the West Babylon Public Library. Classes will continue for 5-weeks – a $15 fee will be charged. The event takes place Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m.
