At The Libraries: June 17

All of the big announcements and events from our libraries this week.

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week. Babylon and West Babylon Public Libraries often host these events for little or no charge, so check out the top five events going on this week.

  1. The Babylon Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a Public Meeting on Tues., June 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room. All are welcome.
  2. The AARP will hold a Defensive Driving Class at the Babylon Public Library at 10 a.m. on Thurs., June 20. The course will cost $19 if you are a member of the AARP. Checks only please.
  3. Babylon Public Library will host its Monthly Movie at 3 p.m. on Thurs., June 20. The free event is open to all – the movie is to be announced.
  4. Empire Safety Council will host a Defensive Driving Course at the West Babylon Public Library on Sat., June 22 at 10 a.m. for $35. Checks only please.
  5. Babylon Public Library will be CLOSED on Sat., June 22 for network maintenance  The library apologizes for the inconvenience.
