Weather Forecast

Prepare for the first arctic blast of the end of the year. Highs will stay in the mid-50s on Monday before dropping as showers move in that evening into Tuesday. Even with mostly clear conditions, highs throughout the rest of the week will struggle to the lower 40's and at night drop down to the low 30's. Bring a coat this week – you'll need it!

Veterans Day

Veterans Day is Monday and, as with all federal holidays, all government and school buildings are closed.

The village will hold a special Veterans Day parade starting at 10 a.m., so hit Deer Park Avenue or Main Street and thank your vets!

Public Meetings

Public Hearings for New Businesses, Tuesday – 6 p.m., Babylon Village Hall

Public Board Meeting, Tuesday – 8 p.m., Babylon Village Hall

Playoffs

The Babylon Panthers have rolled to a 21-0 record (9-0 this season) and continue on in the playoffs for the Suffolk County Division IV title this weekend.

As the number one seed, Babylon will take on the lowest seed – the number-four ranked Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats at home this Friday starting at 6 p.m. Entry will cost $6, but come out and root on the defending Long Island champs as they attempt to go 22-0!
