Find out what's happening in the area this Father's Day weekend.

The Town of Babylon Summer Movie Series kicks off Friday night with "Indiana Jones and The Raiders of The Lost Ark" at Overlook Beach at 8:30 p.m. There is a $10 donation per car that will go toward a 9/11 Memorial.

Mike Filippone, President of North Babylon Youth League, is going to bat for charity. Beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Fillipone will spend 24 hours swinging at baseballs at Phelps Lane Park in North Babylon. You can purchase a bucket of balls for $20 and pitch them to him. All donations will go to The Dan Gambardella Memorial Fund which helps local families in crisis. There will also be raffles.

One Main Restaurant & Bar is hosting their Grand Opening on Saturday at 11 a.m. Come check out Babylon's newest spot.

Join the Babylon Animal Adoption Rescue Center and Girl Scout Troop 382 for Adoption and Fun Day on Saturday at Lindenhurst Village Square from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to adoptable pets, there will be homemade dog and cat treats, raffle baskets, temporary tattoos, face painting and more.

Take dad on a Father's Day sightseeing cruise on the Delta Lady Paddlewheel Boat at Captree. The boat leaves at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Reservations are required.
