The Babylon Village Historical & Preservation Society operates a museum depicting life in the community from theMore early 1800s up to America's involvement in World War II.  Each room of the museum is designed to reflect a specific period of Babylon's history: industrialization, the Victorian period, the swinging 20s and the Great Depression.
Old Town Hall Museum

The Old Town Hall Museum is a community institution working to educate and promote the history of Babylon Village forMore the residents of the community. Originally purchased by the town in June of 2004 and rededicated on October 24th of the same year, the site offers a wide range of activities, programs and works to document the people and the politics of the past in a modern setting. The site has celebrated many events in the area, including the 100th anniversary of the electric trolleys in the Babylon and the 175th anniversary of the Long Island Rail Road. Tours of the building include a peek at old jail cells from the old Town of Babylon Police Department, as well as displays of hundreds of historic photos and oral history videos. Tours are free, but groups should call ahead to schedule an appointment.
