Bubble Hit by Graffiti Overnight

Graffiti tagged on storefront's windows and wall during the overnight hours.

Bubble Learning Center, the children's store that was recently awarded a $15,000 donation by millionaire Donald Trump, was hit by graffiti overnight Sunday.

The words "fraud" and "give money back" were scrawled across the Bubble window logo and wall overnight Sunday or on Monday morning, according to co-owner Jennifer Dellafranca.

"I left yesterday at around 4 p.m. and got a call from a friend at around 7 a.m.," Dellafranca told Patch. "We're just so upset by this."

Bubble was recently awarded $15,000 by Donald Trump during a campaign on the crowd-funding FundAnything. The store was planning on throwing a free weekend party for Hurricane Sandy survivors and their children.

Dellafranca said her storefront does not have security cameras installed, but said she might check with neighboring businesses to see if they might have caught the suspects.

"We're just trying to bring something good to our community, I don't know why someone would do this," she said. "We're trying to give back... that the whole purpose of this."
