Fun and Celebration for Sandy Survivors' Children This Sat.

"Little Heroes" celebration will include face painting, bouncy rides and delicious food for the kids.

Neighbors Supporting Neighbors Babylon, Babylon Helps, Adopt-A-House and other organizations are teaming up to put on a fun day for the youngest Hurricane Sandy survivors this weekend coming.

The celebration for the area's "Little Heroes" is for children who have had to deal with the tragedy and aftermath of Hurricane Sandy starting in October.

The event for the children will including face painting, Darlings and Divas Glitter Tattoos, a bouncy house, cotton candy, popcorn, hamburgers, hot dogs and dancers from Divine Rhythms Dance Studio.

For the adults, FEMA, AmeriCorps, Project Hope, North Shore LIJ's Mobile Medical Unit, Island Harvest, Catholic Charities and the Department of Finance will be on hand to answer your questions while the kids are off being kids.

The celebration will take place at First Presbyterian Church on East Main Street on Sat., April 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All families are required to register for the event, as there will be a gift card giveaway.
