Local Businesses Collecting for Toys for Tots

Local businesses throughout our area are collecting gifts for children through the Toys for Tots program.

The Toys for Tots program is run through the United States Marines. The annual holiday drive collects toys and gifts to give to children up to age 12 in most communities and 14 to 16 in other areas.

The program suggests local good samaritans donate a toy they think would be appropriate for a child or relative in their family – there are no items too small or too big for donation.

Collection coordinators do ask that any authentic-looking weapons not be donated to the program – they will not be distributed in the event they are donated.
