Pedestrian Seriously Injured in W. Babylon Hit & Run

Man in serious condition after a vehicle struck him and fled the scene early Friday morning.

A pedestrian was seriously injured after a vehicle struck him and left the scene on Route 109 in West Babylon early Friday morning.

Suffolk County Police said Corey Hall, 29, of Brentwood, was crossing Route 109 at East Drive at around 12:10 a.m. this morning when he was a struck by a vehicle that immediately left the scene.

The vehicle was describe as a dark or black-colored sedan, possibly a Mercedes Benz, and might have suffered damage on the left front side of the vehicle.

Hall was taken by West Babylon Ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was listed in serious condition.

First Precinct detectives are continuing the investigation into the hit and run and are asking for the public's help.
