Police: Woman Knocked Unconscious in Robbery in Babylon Parking Lot

Attack occurs in parking near LIRR station last week, police say.

A woman was hospitalized after being attacked and robbed in a parking lot near the Babylon Long Island Rail Road station last week, police said. 

The incident occurred on Trolley Line Road at 11:30 p.m. on March 5 when the victim reported that she was struck in the head by an unknown person by unknown means and knocked the ground, police said. 

The woman was unconscious for an unspecified amount of time and when she woke up, her purse containing cash, debit card and personal papers were missing, police said. 

The woman was treated for her injuries at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.

No arrests have been made.
