Chamber of Commerce's Fall Harvest Street Fair This Weekend

Sidewalk sale and fall entertainment ahead as Babylon gears up for its annual event.

The Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce will host its 21st annual Fall Harvest Festival Street Fair on this Saturday starting at 10 a.m.

The yearly street fair brings out Babylon residents by the hundreds to the business district in a celebration of the cooler temperatures and changing colors of the trees.

Local businesses will be holding outdoor sales during the event, along with special goodies and fall-themed items for purchase. The sidewalk sales won't just be Saturday though – event organizers said stores will be featuring their items outside Friday through Sunday this year.

The festival also features live entertainment on Deer Park Avenue from Main Street all the way up to Trolley Line Road, including musicians such as 45 RPM, Late Nite Audio - Latham Road, A Johnny Cash Tribute and more.

Children will also get in on the fun times during the day with rides, games, a petting zoo, face painting and more.

A rain date for the event has been set on October 26.

Deer Park Avenue itself will be closed during the event. Drivers are asked to look for alternative routes around Babylon to avoid traffic.
